Sal Crivellaro's Family Cheese Company is operated by Sal Crivellaro, the 3rd generation of the Crivellaro Family. The Company was founded by Charles and Louise (Adorno) Crivellaro, Sr. in 1914. While raising their 13 children they strived to establish the company known as "Crivellaro's" throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley and expanding into Northern PA, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland with their home made cheese and pizza products.

In 1972, their company became known as "Crivellaro & Sons Cheese and Pizza Mfg. Co. Inc.". The brothers- Salvatore Sr., Anthony, Charles Jr., Louis Sr., and Paul Sr. continued the expansion of the Crivellaro business to what it had become in the early 1980's, a thriving cheese and pizza business.

With the construction of the Interstate 78 in 1982, the Crivellaros were forced to downsize their dairy farm and business and as years went on the brothers felt it was time to retire.

Today, with the assistance of his two brothers, Alfred and Michael Sr., Sal Jr. continues the Crivellaro Cheese tradition under the name of "Sal Crivellaro's Family Cheese Co." with the hopes that one day his children, the 4th generation of Crivellaros, will continue their legacy.
